DDark is a British rapper & producer. DDark is an eclectic artist specializing in a range of genres, from: Hip-Hop, R&B, Grime and Dubstep, to Funky House, Electro and Pop. From as early as five years old, DDark’s passion for music evolved as he began to play musical instruments such as the piano and guitar. Shortly after DDark’s urge to blast through the music scene, DDark featured in a number of well-established pirate radio stations: Mistiq Fm, Heat Fm, Raw UK, Jam Hot and De Ja Vu (just to list a few). Once DDark’s exposure had reached its high, global, world- wide-known stations and DJ’s such as, BBC 1xtra’s DJ Cameo, DJ Semtex Marian Hoobs, DJ Logan and Kiss FM, where keen to have DDark feature on their shows.

Moreover, Aftershock – an independent label – signed DDark at the tender age of sixteen. This was a massive achievement for DDark, as he was quite clearly being recognised for all the right reasons: a young, talented, unique artist that had the ability to concoct sounds together in his virtual laboratory, using mixtures of feelings that circulated in his life, to create ABSOLUTE BANGERS. The label itself had urban prestige as it upheld some of the best mainstream urban artists, such as Terror Danjah, Bruza and Tinie Tempah. As expected, DDark collaborated with these artists in many music videos, all of which were aired on Channel U and can now be found on Youtube. DDark had also collaborated with mainstream rapper Chipmunk and produced tracks for Wretch 32.

DDark has also featured on many underground songs such as ‘On The Block’ and ‘Tempations’, which was broadcasted on Channel U, Flava and MTV Base. DDark has also produced a mass amount of beats for loads of different types of artists, .In addition, DDark was responsible for the explosive underground Instrumental ‘Misson Riddim’. Early 2012 DDark released his M.O.T mixtape for free download which was featured on the SBTV website and has accumulated over 10,000 downloads. DDark was tipped off by mainstream Rapper Sway as one to watch out for.

DDark also starred in the viral youtube shows Smokey Barbers and Diary of a Badman which has received over a million views , DDark has worked closely with channel 4 producing music for documentaries and on the BBC producing backing tracks for the show Panorama.

DDark has hit over 2 million views on his Harlem shake freestyle, he is defiantly set for many great things in the future.
